Symantec reports the biggest malware story of Android

According to Symantec, the company that owns the popular Norton antivirus, Android users have run a great danger, because of the spread of malware, considered extremely dangerous.

This malware has spread starting from 13 applications from three different developers, present in ‘Android Market. These applications, to their internal parts contained malicious code named Android.Counterclank. It seems that the problem involves about 5 million smart phones.

The major problems generated by ‘infection is the appearance of advertising against the wishes of’ user who owns the phone. The apps have been available in the market for about a month later and Google has taken steps to remove it.

Some users seem to have realized that something was wrong, noting the strange situations while using the phone. For example, the appearance of a ‘search icon added randomly to one of the screens when it was launched a dele infected 13 app. According to Symantec, this would be the biggest malware story of Android.
