Iomega’s new eGo external hard drives in the series come with virus protection. A six-month license of McAfee Virus Scan Plus comes with it.
The new eGo series included “Iomega Protection Suite”, a software collection that is mainly to protect users against viruses.
In addition to a six-month license of McAfee antivirus software (for PC), we also find the backup software, both locally and online.
The manufacturer claims to also have the file on the eGo design and states that the storage devices are ‘extra shock-resistant “due to data protection Drop Guard. It protects the disks in case of up to 1.3 meters.
Users who are looking for an extra margin perhaps interested by the model eGo Black Belt. It features a black rubber band that will make it to withstand more than the rest of the series.
